Dear Sir:

Noting the name of my son, Don Allard, in the last issue of your valued paper, and address given as c/o Postmaster, battle Creek, Mich., I am writing to advise that he ahs been transferred from that post. The new address is as follows:

Lt. Don Allard
Hq. 301st Infantry,
AP. O. # 94
Camp Philips,
Salina, Kansas.

It may also be of in interest to your readers to learn that my son was married at Battle Creek on October 24th, to Miss Alice Nelson, formerly of Providence. The wedding was a full military affair, held at high neon in the Chapel at Camp Custer, Capt. John young, Catholic Chaplin, officiating. The bridal couple were tendered a reception held in the Officer’s Club, after which the newlyweds left for a few days honeymoon in Chicago. My son and his bride are now living in Salina, Kansas.

Yours very truly,

Samuel J. Allard [Transcription ends]
