Dear Bryant Service Club,

Sorry I’m a little late in thanking you for the cigarettes, but as you have probably noticed, I have changed address.

We moved Monday and I haven’t had a chance to write until now.

The weather is hot and uncomfortable, but other than that I have no complaints.

I hope to be given a furlough soon, it certainly will be nice to see “home” again.

Once more thanks a million for the cigarettes.

It was nice hearing from you, especially my only being a “rookie” and only being there a short time, this however does not limit my interest in the activities there.

I like it here very much, I do the work I was most interested in, office work, and my supervisors are a fine group of men.
