WILLIAM & MARY

December 16, 1943

Bryant Service Club:

Thanks a million, it was really swell of (you-all) making it possible for all of us Bryant Alumnus to receive those gifts. I'm stationed here with Leon "Pinky" Finkle another Bryant man and when we received our packages, it brought back many pleasant memories of days we had spent at Bryant, and of course not forgetting those lovely evenings we spent at the dorms. We are both looking forward to soon returning and beginning where we left off.

I look forward to those letters you send out every so often, which contains news about all the other boys in the service and about all the school news.

Well, I guess I better sign off now, for we are having our mid-term exams this week and they sure are tough. Again I thank you all very, very, much, and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and next year at this time I hope I'll be playing Christmas carols for the student body of Bryant instead of serenading the students here at William and Mary every evening at 10:45 just before I play taps for lights out.

Best of Luck to all of you, and keep up the good work; I'm sure it's being appreciated.
