Dear Mom,
Just a short note honey, to let you know I’m out of the hospital and back on duty.
I flew today, did some high works. (Spins, stalls, steep turns, etc.)
Thanks ever so much for the box, honey. Those cookies of Bobbies are the best yet. Give her my congratulations and thanks. And thank you for the candy, it’s swell.
It’s swell that Ace soloed. I got a short letter from him yesterday. I’ve got 7 hours & 19 minutes in now. Will probably solo Monday. I was supposed to solo Saturday, damn it!
Well honey, I’m going to hit the sac early tonight.
I love you and long to see you. Give my love to Bob, and thanks again.
Your devoted Son
Judd
