Abstract

This paper exam­ines how Ugrešić novel Fording the Stream of Con­sciousness (orig. Forsiranje romana-Ōeke, 1988 ) both parodies and engages serious problems of cultural identity in an incisive and witty satire of an interna­tional literary conference.
