It was certainly a privilege and pleasure indeed to have received your letter, also, the package that was sent to me on March 12, 1943. As a matter of fact the package was forward on to me at Ft. Benning Georgia from Camp Polk, Louisiana.

On June 12, 1943 I was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. being graduated at the Officer’s Training School at Benning.

My address at the present time

Nicholas A. Ferri
2nd Lt. Inf. 0-1321086
A.P.O. 7211 c/o Postmaster
San Francisco, California

Give my regards to all. Hoping the day will come soon when we can have a great reunion at Bryant.

Sincerely
Lt. Nicholas A. Ferri

P.S. Has Mr. Richards lost any weight yet?
