Since last hearing from you our outfit has been changed both in name and location. From Boston Harbor to deep in the Heart of Texas. We are now in the Field Artillery and in process of readjustment both personally and in training.

Dear Members.

Please accept my many thanks for your latest package of cigarettes. You are doing a grand job and from the news contained in your last letter it has become rather a hugh [sic] undertaking. I’m sure the rest of the alumna appreciates it as much as I do.

Thanks again
Ted Hudson

Dear Club Members:--

This will acknowledge receipt of your letter from my parents dated Jan. 22/43. Although I have previously sent a card of thanks for the two packages of cigarettes received from the R. J. Reynolds Co. please accept this card as evidence of their receipt and also of my many thanks. There were a great many packages received at the Fort at Xmas time and I believe that those containing “smokes” were the most appreciated. Am really sorry for any inconvenience caused. My address is still the same.
