Hello Everybody:

How is everything up there in the old school? Is everything running along smoothly? I’ll bet there had been a great many changes since the class of August 1940 has left. It’s only to be expected in times like these. I’ll bet everybody appreciates what the Club is doing for the boys in the service. I know I do and I wish to express my sincere thanks for the packages of cigarettes which you have been so kind to send me during the Christmas holiday and now this past week. They sure do come in handy.

My training at Bryant has sure helped me a lot in the work I am now doing in the service. I am attached to the Finance Department at Large, First Air Force, and boy Accounting and Finance sure do come in handy here.

Well I guess there isn’t much more I can say but to thank you again for the cigarettes.

Respectfully yours
