I hope that this letter finds you and everyone back at Bryant in the best of health and success. What is the recent developments in the Stamp and Bond Committee? I hope that their progress is supreme.

I finally ended up over in Italy--in your old stamping ground. I imagine that you have visited Anzio as well as the many other important places in this part of Italy. Civilian conditions here are very poor, but the American and Allied authorities are doing everything within their power to improved the situation. The military morale over here is great.

I hope that your daily duties at Bryant are not working you too hard. I wish the Service Club complete and supreme success in all of its efforts.
