Dear Folks:

A little belated thank you for the package which you recently sent to me. It was sincerely and deeply appreciated.

Georgia is getting pretty warm these days, and in as much as my wife is here with me, it is requested that these packages be sent to some fellow alumnus in the future who is not in quite so fortunate a position as I am.

It is not because I do not appreciate your good work that I make this request, but merely offer it as part of my contribution to the effort we are all making. I realize that all these tokens of your consideration cost money and that this cost is defrayed by contributions from members of the student body.

It is for this reason that I make this request.

Yours for Victory,

MILTON J. LAPIN
