Dear Friends,

As usual, I am still making it difficult for your letters to reach me by moving from one part of the country to another. Thank goodness, the college stays in place.

Since my last letter to you, I have been transferred to Camp Blanding, Fla. for duty with the 263rd Infantry Regiment as regimental munitions officer. My work is the supervision of matters pertaining to the ammunition and ordnance supply of the unit.

That is, I’m afraid, all the news I have of myself. Very little happens to Uncle Sam’s soldiers as individuals, but we certainly do enjoy the compilations of those “little bits” you send to all of us.

Sincerely yours,
Nathaniel Lipschitz, Lt. Inf.
