	<p>[Transcription begins]<br /> CAMP LEE, VIRGINIA</p>
<p>May 2, 1943</p>
<p>Dear Fellows:</p>
<p>Thanks for your letters.  It’s great to here [<em>sic</em>] what’s happening back at school.  It sort of brings back memories of those days when we were all together, enjoying the same things.</p>
<p>I’m here at Camp Lee, Va. Assigned to the Quartermasters Corp and am just completing my basic training.  My course at Bryant has proven very helpful because I think I may have a chance at clerk’s school when I start a technical school.</p>
<p>Tell the Service Club to keep up the good work.  It’s things like that which helps the fellows morale the most.  I hope we can meet again after this mess is all over, and can resume our studies again.</p>
