Dearest Mommie,
When we returned to the University after our short shopping trip we found notices in our boxes that we were to move to the Womens Residence Hall at the American University so that will be my address until further notice.[1] We are going to move tomorrow morning when we go out for our first class.
The lectures have all been very interesting telling all about the setup of the R.C.[2] I wish you could see the trees here. They are just beautiful. Love,
Chichi
[1] The Women’s Residence Hall at American University was on Mass and Nebraska Avenue, NW, Washington, DC
[2] Red Cross is initial R.C. or A.R.C. for American Red Cross.
