THE NAVAL RESERVE AVIATION BASE
SQUANTUM, MASS.

May 26, 1942

Bryant Service Club
Bryant College
Providence, R.I.

Dear Members:

Thank you sincerely for your gift. It certainly was an unexpected pleasure to be remembered at a time like this. I may or may not be acquainted with your members but I hope to be able to do so in the future. Any of you that have been in somewhat of a similar position can appreciate my feelings--that of being in a strange place and finding an old friend.

My position in the Service has changed since last week. I have transferred from the enlisted navy to the Air Corps as an Aviation Cadet. After three months of training here, we go down South for final training and our Commission.

All letters written to me from any member will be greatly appreciated.

Will you kindly send my regards and best wishes to all the faculty.

Kindly address letters to Student W. R. Meyer, in order to avoid mix-up in mail.

Thank you again,
