Dear Students:

I was greatly interested in the article about the new Bryant Service Club in my latest Bryant Alumni Bulletin. You are certainly doing a wonderful job and I know that it must be greatly appreciated by the recipients.

I only wish that the news of your club did not reach me at the time that I am so financially embarrassed. However, I have no doubt that you will be able to use the very small enclosed donation and hope that sometime in the future I will be able to increase it.

I couldn’t tell from the bulletin whether or not you were asking alumni members to work or not. I realize that it would entail a great deal of work to try and carry on work of this sort through the mail. However, if you are doing anything along this line, I would gladly give my services. I did a great deal of knitting for the Red Cross this last winter and would be glad to help along that line if needed.

I don’t know whether or not you have an Alumni Service Members at any of the posts in or around New London or not or if so if you are doing anything for members as near home as this but if you have and I could be of any assistance through direct contact I would be glad to do anything that might help.
