TEXAS

Pvt. Matt Riccitelli 31383980
Hq. Co. 67th Signal Bn.
Camp Bowie, Texas

Dec 11, 1943

Dear Classmates:

I want to extend my sincere thanks to the Bryant Service Club and all my friends for the swell gift. It really shows me that my pals out “there” are not forgotten. It beats me how you found out my address. You guys and gals are on the ball. My pal “Monk” Mandato has been promoted to Corporal in the Engineers at Camp Claiborne. If any of you remember me, you must remember “Monk”. My brother Angelo, a former night student, will report for active duty at the Marine Corps Base at Parris Island on Dec 23rd. I’ll give you his address later.

If any of my pals are still at the good old school, I wish they would drop me a line. Here’s hoping that “Monk” and I will be parking my little “v-8” near the old iron fence again some day soon. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

Your pal
Pvt. “Matt”

P.S. Your pkg was forwarded from Van Dorn, Miss.
