Dear Friends,

I received your package of candy in good order.

I thank you and almost every member of the class here at Noroton thanks you. We all shared in the package. It is always nice to receive something to eat. I think it is as nice as anything you can receive. Very seldom can you obtain anything other than Navy issue.

My correct address is Noroton Heights, Naval Training School, Noroton Heights, Conn. Please do not refer to the Communications part of the address. It is restricted.

I do not know whether the Bryant Alumni Bulletin is still being published, but if it is, I would greatly appreciate receiving each issue of it. It’s difficult to do your work here at school, which incidentally starts at 0800 and ends at 2300 each night, and still keep in touch with former school mates.

Once again thank you.

Sincerely,
Lee Weaver
Ensign D-V(S), USNR
