[Transcription begins]
Aviation Cadet Adolph J. Ziomko
United States Army Air Forces

January 10, 1942

Bryant Service Club
Bryant College,
Providence, R. I.

Gentlemen,

Your letter travelled some to reach me, Virginia, Florida and Texas where I finally received it.

I’ve just completed my Preflight School Training here at the San Antonio Aviation Cadet Center and will be sent to Primary School in another week.

These last paragraphs are thrown in only to bring you up to date as to my activities. I notice the Alumni Bulletin still has me in Virginia. I can’t begin to tell you how good it was to receive your interesting letter and the enclosed Alumni Bulletin.

It’s a comforting thought, knowing that your Alumni and Alma Meta [sic] is doing so fine a job of morale building.

I might mention that Lt. Albert Stanwood, a classmate of mine at Bryant, has made quite an impressive record for himself in the South Pacific flying the ‘Flying Fortress.’ I notice he wasn’t mentioned in the Alumni Bulletin.

Yours in Victory
Av/C A J Ziomko
[Transcription ends]
