Bryant College Service Club
Providence, R. I.

Gentlemen:

—Or should I say “Ladies.” Sounds more like a Service Club that way. It was a couple of months ago that I received a package containing small boxes of candy for which I am very thankful indeed. The package followed me around awhile before catching up with me because I was at OCS at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia when I received it. I was a candidate. I received my commission, Corps of Engineers, United States Army on June 9, 1943 as 2nd Lieutenant. I wish you would kindly let the school know so they can see what we Bryant fellows are doing for our country. I am assigned here temporarily as assistant adjutant and S-4, Headquarters 8th Provisional Battalion. I will be assigned permanently soon I hope.

Thanks again for the package sent me.

Sincerely
“Tom” Moran
