Dear Friends,

I just received your fine Christmas letter. Your newsy items mean a lot to the boys in Service.

The Army closed my office in Montpelier, Vt. and gave me an honorable release from active duty. So I'm now on inactive duty with the reserves.

I want you all to know that I appreciate very much your letters and gifts. Merry Christmas!

Sincerely,
Harold E. Adams
