Dear Service Club.
I wish to thank you for the swell box of candy I received from you today and it is real nice especially here our candy is rationed. Things here are pretty busy and they are keeping us on the go all the time. I sure would like to meet of few of the boys from my old class but this war is really spread out and I guess they are scattered all over the world. I am hoping that this is the year to see me back in Uncle Sugar and if I do get back I will surly pay you a visit. Thanks again,
