Ms. Mayo was a member of the Bryant College Class of 1939. She was a member of Sigma Lambda Theta sorority and the Yearbook Committee. She joined the WACs on October 10, 1942. On October 16, 1943 she was married at Fort Sheridan, IL and became Mrs. Phyllis Mayo Long.
