Dearest Mommie,[1]
Am having my hair washed. Went + got all of my uniforms this aft. +just had time to have one suit + topcoat fitted to get here on time. Have to return sometime to have my summer suit + 2 extra skirts + uniform blue silk jersey dress fitted. Had fun last night at the St. L. party. Rode from Mayflower to a place on the Potomac called “The Stables” for dinner in a regular old surrey or stagecoach. We graduate Sat. + have uniform inspection then. Get our assignments Mon. Your 2 letters + 1 from Uncle Hugh today. Lots of Love,
