Dear Service Club-
A most wonderful surprise happened to me last week when I received your package. It certainly is great to know that the students of Bryant remember us boys in the service. We certainly appreciate it, I know I did.
I’m very happy here in the Armored Force but naturally I myself as every other fellow misses civilian life and as for myself, Bryant College. I only hope to return someday and complete my education, but until then we have a war to win. As everyone knows I also miss a certain girl very much but she will also have to wait until this is all over.
Thanks again for the swell package.
