Dear Friends:

Once again I say "Thanks" for the most thoughtfull [sic] gift.

The box of candy you sent was received with open mouths. I took it to the office and in two minutes flat it had been devoured.

Let me echo the thanks of other Bryant grads who are receiving these gifts. the are received with much gratitude & appreciation. The sweater you sent to me last winter has certainly come in handy. With all the hot air floating around here in Washington there still is room for a lot of cold breezes.

I am proud to say that I was once a member of the Bryant College Service Club. And am glad to say that the few dollars in War Bonds & Stamps I sold (too few perhaps) helped us in some small way bring us closer to the day when the need for Service Clubs will not be so great.
