Dear Friends:
Your very welcome package containing two flat “fifties” of Camels came today. Thanks alot [sic].
If things are the same in Providence as they are here in Washington Camels are hard to get and those that you sent were very gladly received.
Yes I’m still here in Washington fighting the “bloody Battle of the Potomac” and we will be here until they can get [?] to replace us.
There is a slight change in my address. Am now Y2c instead of Y3c.
Thanks again for the smokes and a happy Easter to you all.
