Hi Everyone…..

Once again I find myself in debt to you all for another gift. Thanks loads; it was swell. It arrived here in perfect condition and was as much appreciated by the other fellows in the office as it was by myself.

If everything goes alright I’ll be heading back to Rhode Island on a furlough before too long, and when I get there I’ll drop around to look Bryant over once more. However, I’m not looking forward to the six-day and six-night train ride in from of me. But I guess it will be worth the ride when I get home to see the folks and my old friends again.

The Bryant Service Club is doing a grand job for the fellows in the service, and we especially appreciate those letters you send out occasionally, giving all the “low-down” on kids we used to know…….keep them coming.

Until I get home to see you in person, I’ll sign off with very best holiday wishes to you all.
