Dear Chairman:
I received your welcome news bulletin printed in fraternity rush week today. Thanks very much. It's always nice to get those bulletins and learn what the old gang is doing. Too bad Mr. Appleby's health forced him to take a rest. I'll bet Mr. Naylor is a proud father who has at last ended his bachelor days.
Things are humming over here in France. It's too bad the towns are so badly bombed that very little of the Old World grandeur is left except what is reflected by a few churches.
As for myself, I am fine and looking forward to the day when the Bryant Placement Bureau can help me find a post war position!
Best wishes
Charles Crocker Jr.
