My Sweetheart,
Darling, I’m sending this letter as a follow-up to the air mail letter so I don’t have a heck of a lot to add. I hope you are saving the slippings [sic] concerning the activities of the 9th Army and would appreciate your sending me some of them.
Sweetheart, did you get me an overseas subscriptions[sic] to the Plain Dealer? Even if it takes 10 days to get here—I think it’s worth it.
I’ve enjoyed reading all about “your kids at school” and sincerely hope that the day may not be too far off when we can talk about ours company [?], darling? Adorable one, I’m absolutely insane about you. Always remember that. Goodnight dear.
