RUTH ELLIS PORTER
Dear Bryant Service Club—
Thank you so much for the box of assorted candy you sent to me. It certainly was very much appreciated.
And I want to thank you for sending me those cigerettes [sic]. I got them about 2 months ago and it seemed that they had followed me from New York to Oklahoma and back to Washington. I’m sorry I haven’t written before.
Bryant school days seem a long way back—it seems as if so much has happened since then. But of [sic] I think of the school and my friends there quite often.
My correct name is in the printed letterhead. I was married a year ago this month.
Thank you again for the Christmas presents—the Bryant new[s] letter and the cigeretts [sic]. Your club is doing a wonderful job—
Sincerely
Ruth Ellis (Porter)
