Mr. Galiskis was a member of Phi Sigma Nu fraternity and graduated from Bryant College in 1941 with the Degree of Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Records indicate that, after graduation, he worked at the Nielsen Tool and Die Company of Hartford, CT.
The April 1963 issue of Bryant's Alumni Bulletin announced that Lt. Col. Galiskis had recently assumed command of the 2nd battalion, 25th Marines, USMCR which was composed of over 800 Marine reservists from the New York metropolitan area.
