Bryant College
Providence, Rhode Island
Dear Club Members:--
During the holidays I received a package from the Bryant Service Club containing cigarettes and I wish to express sincere thanks to you for your remembrance, and good wishes as well.
I am certain the Alumni of Bryant, who are now in the Service, very much appreciate this gesture, for we all remember pleasant associations formed at the College, and it's nice to know that they remember us. However, this spirit of good fellowship that follows Bryant Alumni wherever they are serving Uncle Sam is pretty much consistent with the Bryant policies.
It might be of interest for me to mention that while on furlough last summer I was married to Miss Pauline Sciegand, formerly of Bronxville, New York. My wife is with me here in Boston where I am stationed for the present time. I will keep you advised of my whereabouts in the future.
Sincerely,
Martin F. Golden, '38
