Dear Friends,
Your package just arrived today via way of Randolph Field, Texas. Army mail gets delayed but it usually gets through.
Thank you for the candy and cigarettes, both Mrs. Hammond and I enjoyed them very much.
How are things at Bryant? It would certainly give me great pleasure to visit the school once more. Maybe I will be able to manage it in the spring.
Thank you again for remembering me.
Yours sincerely
F. D. Hammond
