Abstract

The Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) of 1974 requires that any contractor or subcontractor receiving a contract from the federal government in the amount of $25,000 or more must take affirmative action in employing and advancing qualified special disabled veterans, veterans of the Vietnam era , and any other veterans who served on active duty during a war or in a campaign for which a campaign badge has been authorized.
