Abstract
On July 26, 1963, students and alumni set sail for a business study tour of Western Europe organized by Bryant Professor Wally Camper. This photo shows the group on the deck of the SS France which sailed from New York to Le Havre. During their 41 day journey to 8 countries, students and alumni met with representatives of various organizations such as the European Common Market in Brussels, Lloyd's of London and the Daimler-Benz Corporation (Stuttgart). The group also visited the Pernod Ricard winery and had lunch at Chateau Ricard and tasted various wines including pastis.
The cost of the tour was $1,100.
