Abstract

Black and white postcard of Gregg Hall once located at 2 Young Orchard Avenue at the corner of Hope Street in Providence, RI. Gregg Hall was probably named after John Gregg of shorthand fame.

Gregg Hall was a Bryant College women's dormitory consisting of 12 rooms housing 25 students.

Gregg Hall was renamed Jeannette Carroll Hall in 1956. Jeannette Carroll died in 1956 and was the 2nd wife of Bryant President Henry Jacobs.

This building was sold to Brown University in 1969 and was subsequently removed for the construction of apartment style dormitories.
