Black & white photo of Leander Francis Emin. Leander was born October 14, 1892 to Eugenie and John Emin, Sr. in the Joseph Mowry Homestead (1708), the future site of Bryant University. The Leander Francis Emin Endowed Homestead Award is presented annually to a graduating senior who has achieved scholastic excellence in accounting. This award was inaugurated by Emin's family to honor Emin's memory and the entire Emin Homestead (farm and airport) which is now Bryant University. Leander Francis Emin graduated from Bryant College in 1907.
