Description
The Eight Immortals, Pa Hsien, or Ba Xian, of Chinese Mythology. Eight is considered a lucky number in China, which is why the Beijing Olympics started on 08/08/08, at precisely 8:08 p.m.
As president of Rotary International, Dr. Hodgson and his wife traveled thousands of miles visiting 79 countries. Along the way they acquired many treasures, which Dr. Hodgson donated to Bryant University, in memory of his wife, Edith M. Hodgson, Class of 1916.
