Description
The tusk sits on a base of two carved polar bears. On top of the tusk are 3 carved seals. There is a scrimshaw image of a walrus on the tusk.
As president of Rotary International, Dr. Hodgson and his wife traveled thousands of miles visiting 79 countries. Along the way they acquired many treasures, which Dr. Hodgson donated to Bryant University, in memory of his wife, Edith M. Hodgson, Class of 1916.
