The Correlation between Waste Consumption and Plastic Bag Usage
Abstract
With growing environmentalism and the push for more environmentally conscious decisions in the future by humanity, this paper briefly researches findings into one of the most forgotten trash entities; plastic trash bags. With statistics, findings, and conclusions from multiple studies, we have gathered the evidence to back the growing problem that almost every region in the world deals with. The three main focuses of our research of trash bag consumption are: Earth (as a whole), the United States, and Bryant University’s A.I.C. building. With each focus, we provide the reader with information regarding the trash bag pandemic, as well as the equivalent of what our trash bag usage might be. There is more to the plastic problem than people think.
