Dear Friends:
Yesterday I received the cigaretts [sic] which the Students at Bryant College so generously sent to me, and I want to thank them all very much. I only wish I could thank them all personally, but at present that is quite impossible. Maybe some day soon I will be able to do just that.
I am going to make this just a "thank you" letter because I know that whatever I might say could not possibly compare in interest to the letters which you much receive from the boys "over there."
Please express my regards to the student body and facility, and thank them for me.
Sincerely yours,
Sgt. Charles J. Memmott, Jr.
