HEADQUARTERS FORT SAM HOUSTON

FORT SAM HOUSTON, TEXAS

Bryant College Service Club
Bryant College
Providence, Rhode Island.
To the Bryant Service Club:
I would like to extend to the student body, through you, my thanks for the package which you sent to me. I never thought, when I saw Nick organize the Service Club, that I would be on the receiving end in so short a time, but here I am.
I havn’t [sic] heard from any of the 1942 A & F class that are in the service, but I’ve been told there are a few here in Texas. Trying to get together in this state is almost like trying to beat a Rhode Island driver at a red light—which is impossible.
I hope that I may have the opportunity to personally extend my thanks to you in the near future. Thanking you again, I remain,
Sincerely yours,
Evald Nilsson

P. S. Is Mr. Appleby still threatening that law class?
