Hello Folks,
Your letter brought both good and bad news to me. Most of the boys mentioned I know personally. Charlie Nofal was a “housemate” of mine in his last year at Bryant. Needless to say news of his death came as a shock to me. The news of “Buzz” Frechette being alive was good to hear, also the same applies to “Doc” Bannan and “Gene” Schmidt. The package you sent reached me just before I left El Paso. The letter after traveling about the states finally caught up with me here. Thanks a million for the package and letter. Your letters are the only contact I have with the “old gang” at college. They really help a lot. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Richard E. Larson
