Mr. Smedberg was a member of the Bryant College Class of 1939 and was awarded a Diploma from the Secretarial Program I. Shortly after graduation, records indicate he worked at the Universal Winding Company. He served in the U. S. Army.

Paul E. Smedberg was killed in action while serving his country during World War II.
