June 26, 1942
This morning, I received a package from the Bryant Service Club. I want to say how much I appreciate the package and also the thought behind it.
I am enclosing a slip of paper with an address on it. This will be the correct address for you of the club and any of my friends at Bryant to write to me [after July 1, 1942].
I have received many letters from my old friends at Bryant and ones that have graduated. A few of them heard where I was from students at Bryant. I want to thank you for letting my friends know where to write in order to reach me.
I will close this little note, wishing you all at Bryant good luck.
Sincerely,
Leonard E. Sweeney [Transcription ends]
