12 noon.

Dear Folks,

I am sitting in the lob[b]y of the Warm Springs, Ga. Hotel waiting for the dining room to open. Six of us hired a car and left camp at 6.30 this morning. We have been to look at The Little White House and the Warm Springs Foundation Hospital. It is really a beautiful spot in the woods.

These cards are Stamp Collector’s items, as they are postmarked here the first day the stamp was issued. Keep one for my souvenirs and you may give the others to anyone you think might want one.

It is not possible to get very near the house but there is a parking lot where you can get out and look down on it from behind a low white fence.

The guard there says that it is to be a museum soon and will then be open to the public.

We are going on to Columbus, Ga on our way home. It is very hot but according to the radio not as hot as it was in Maine yesterday.

Dot, I was so glad to get your letter with its good news. Give Bob my love first thing. I’m afraid I owe him many letters!

Love

Kay
