Dear Folks,
We have had such beautiful weather the last two weeks. Perfect Indian Summer Days. It has seemed nice.
Dad does have bad luck as to weather at Camp doesn’t he! It’s a shame –
This is a busy week – company party tonight – Little Theater play – Sat night – Show at Macon last night – Keeping me on the jump – Busy at the office also – Lucky Lenhart went on furlough today so I’ve got her filing to do on top of checking backfiles preparatory to storage. Be glad when I get through, believe me. I’ll also be glad when I know whether or not they intend to hold up my discharge until the place closes! – Still – haven't any idea.
I am enclosing a picture I thought you’d like, and 2 patches for my scrapbook; the blue one is a 78th Service Command Patch and the square one with the wreath is the Meritorious Service Award Patch we wore on our right sleeve about 4 inches from the bottom.
The Railroad Express took my two packages tennis racket & flat iron Wed. P.M. instead of Mon. as I expected.
I had a nice long letter from Bertha today. She had such a nice trip to Massachusetts.
It won’t be long now.
Love
Kay
