Dear Folks,
Well, this is it. I arrived at Ft Dix at 3.00 yesterday afternoon and am scheduled to leave tomorrow afternoon, so I should be at Phil’s tomorrow night. It still doesn’t seem possibly. [possible]
Mother, I hope you won’t mind if I spend a couple of weeks getting home. There are several things I many never get a chance to do again, and some of the girls who have already moved from Cp Wheeler whom I want to see. I expect now to get home 2 weeks from today for sure.
This will be just a hasty note, but I’ll write again in a day or two.
