Dear Jeanne,

I should have written sooner, but gods we’re always very busy.

Wardie is being sent across soon and we’re going to try to have a long distance call before he leaves. I got a letter from Butch Anderson & he’s on the same island as Milo is now so they’ll be seeing each other.

This cartoon mom sent reminded me of you. So ya got a chain from the one and only. Tharill, Tharill. I betcha it’s plenty nice. Did you buy him the bracelet???

This week is full of classes & exams which means studying & they don’t leave us enough time to learn that M. C. stands for Marine Corps. We don’t even have enough time to eat a normal meal. Try & get me some film from Mr. Behlley[?]—all you can. 616 or 116 or even a 620. I’d appreciate it if you would.

This aft we went over to the recreation hall & bowled & danced. We had a swell time, but no men of course. They have a beautiful library there, too & a nice big soda fountain with tables and chairs.

Gotta study map reading now. It’s so damned complicated & I’ll probably flunk the exam if I don’t buckle down.

Love,

Bub
