Dear Gang:
Just a short note to thank the Bryant Service Club for the most welcome cigarettes. It goes without saying that we in the service really do appreciate your letters and gifts.
As for me, I'm still a flying instructor here in Pensacola. Have received definite world however that I’ll be sent out on a carrier in February. It certainly will be swell to see some action for a change, although our cadets provide a thrill a minute everytime [sic] we fly with them.
In case some of the old boys from Phi Sig are around tell them that Bob Marshall is now a Captain in the Marine Corps. Also AL Wilson married the “girl back home”.
Again, many thanks.
Ensign Ken Wheeler
